Ashanti Too Sings Tribute to Whitney Houston

So many celebrities are giving their tribute to the fallen diva Whitney Houston. Jennifer Hudson gave a touching performance of Whitney’s hit “I Will Always Love You” at the 54th Grammy Awards. A day after, R&B singer Ashanti also paid a tribute to the late artist by singing “I Have Nothing” on Good Morning America.

Ashanti did a great job with the song. It was obviously heartfelt. She also sang a few lines from Whitney’s Popular “I Will Always Love You” and finally bidding the fallen singer rest in peace. Then she sang her new single “The Woman You Love.”

Ashanti’s performance couldn’t be faulted but that can’t be said for her outfit! She was wearing a black printed jumpsuit that featured a sheer neckline. Her skintight suit was tucked into peep toe booties.

Her hair was slicked back and she had a braid band on her forehead. She also chose purple lipstick though I love her smoky eye makeup.

I don’t doubt Ashanti’s ability as a singer but I do have doubts about her fashion sense!

Ashanti Wears See-Through Dress to Fashion Week!

The "Down for You" singer got jaws dropping when she attended the Falguni & Shane Peacock runway show at New York Fashion Week in a see-through design that left very little to the imagination.

The dress had a see-through front panel with a tiny strip covering her lady parts, but the 31-year-old singer looked totally comfortable and happy to wear it.

Good luck sitting down in that thing, babe!

Lil Wayne Confirms Limp Bizkit Signing to Cash Money

In a surprise announcement last night, Lil Wayne announced that YMCMB has recruited late '90s nu-metal band Limp Bizkit, an unlikely match for a label primarily known for its stable of young rap stars.

Bizkit, who peaked in 2000 when their third album, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, sold over one million copies in its first week, are most known for their aggressive content that fuses rock, hip hop and metal.

The band's frontman, Fred Durst, 41, confirmed the news on Twitter.

"Believe!!" he wrote in response to a question from a fan. Later Durst directed a tweet at Cash Money's founder and CEO Bryan "Baby" Williams.

"They going crazy Baby," he wrote.

In the same radio interview with NYC’s Kiss FM where he announced the signing, Lil Wayne also indicated that the record label had more recruits, namely Ashanti, and that they would be announced in the near future.

“I don't want to step across any boundaries but I think we’re working with Ashanti right now," Weezy said of a possible deal with the R&B singer. Ashanti recently announced her own label partnership with E1 Entertainment two months ago.

Limp Bizkit recently reunited after a six-year hiatus for their sixth album, Gold Cobra, which peaked at number 16 on Billboard when it was released last year.
